Dr Jennifer Glover
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with 10 years NHS experience. My approach to therapy is friendly, compassionate, client centred, and non-judgemental. I strongly believe that everyone has the right to live an enjoyable and fulfilled life and I see my role as providing the client with the support they need to need to achieve their goals.
My theoretical approach is integrative; drawing upon my training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), personal construct psychotherapy (PCP), mindfulness and narrative therapy.
I have also completed specialist training in the diagnostic assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Experience
Throughout my career to date I have gained experience working in a range of settings and with a range of presentations. The predominance of my NHS employment has been within children’s mental health services and acute adult services. Alongside this I have also gained specialist experience in perinatal services, paediatric services and learning disability services.
